Since our inception, we have played a significant role in numerous large-scale dairy and various other prominent projects across New Zealand, cementing our position as a trusted partner in the industry. Our dedication to excellence is driven by the leadership of formidable father-son duo, Peter and Jono Dellaway. With over 40 years of extensive experience in the engineering sector, Peter’s insights and direction has guided HTE through countless challenges and triumphs. Not to be outdone by his dad, Jono ascended from Apprentice to Site Manager, and ultimately to Managing Director over the past 15 years. Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a keen sense of responsibility, Jono has not only honored his father’s legacy but has also infused it with fresh ideas and modern strategies. Together, they illustrate a powerful synergy of experience and ambition, where tradition meets transformation.

Part of the management team is Workshop Manager, Matt Kornman and Operations Manager, Carl Corby. Since joining us in 2009, Matt has progressed from a workshop role to his current position, where he plays a vital role in managing staff, maintaining product quality, efficiently allocating tasks, coordinating resources, overseeing supplies, and offering essential guidance on significant projects, all of which greatly improve operational efficiency at HTE. Carl, who has been with the company since 2013, began as a tradesman and has advanced to excelling in design and drafting with CAD software, enhancing both project design and manufacturing processes. His keen attention to detail guarantees accuracy in project specifications, enabling him to deliver precise cost estimates across a wide array of projects
